The best social media scheduler for agencies

If you're managing more than a couple of client accounts, the scheduler that matters is the one built around client workflow, not just a bigger queue. SocialPilot and Agorapulse both add client approval and white-label reporting once you're past their entry tier; Sendible adds assignment and approvals from its $99/mo Plus plan and gives every plan unlimited users, but sells white-labeling as a separate product; Buffer stays the cheapest option if your roster is small enough that none of that matters yet. Zolyp (this article's own product, disclosed upfront) is a different kind of tool: it plans, writes, and designs each client's content before any of it reaches a queue.

What actually changes once you're managing clients, not just accounts

A single scheduler queue works fine for one brand. Once you're running content for several clients, the thing that breaks first usually isn't the calendar, it's everything around it: keeping each client's accounts and numbers apart, getting someone to actually sign off before a post goes out, and eventually handing a client a report that doesn't have your dashboard's logo on it.

That's the real difference between a small-business scheduler and an agency one. Tools built for a single account optimize for the cheapest way to queue posts. Tools built for agencies optimize for the workflow around managing someone else's accounts.

  • A workspace per client, so one account's queue and numbers don't mix with another's
  • An approval step a client can actually use, not an internal checkbox only your team sees
  • Reporting you can hand to a client without your own tool's branding on it
  • Unlimited team members on every plan, so the bill never moves when you add someone
  • A way to schedule or approve in bulk once you're past a handful of clients

SocialPilot: client approval and white label reports once you hit Premium

SocialPilot's entry tiers, Essentials at $20/mo for 5 accounts and one user, and Standard at $40/mo for 10 accounts and 3 users, are built for a single account or a small in-house team. Bulk scheduling shows up on Standard, but there's no client approval step or white-label reporting yet.

Both arrive on the Premium tier, $100/mo for 20 accounts and 6 users: client approval and white label reports are listed as included features there, not an add-on. The Ultimate tier, $200/mo for 40 accounts and unlimited users, adds what SocialPilot calls advanced white labeling and unlimited clients. All four tiers save roughly 15% on annual billing (Premium works out to about $85/mo paid yearly).

Sendible: unlimited users on every plan, white-labeling sold separately

Sendible's pricing scales by workspace rather than by user: Core is $35/mo for one workspace and 6 profiles, up through Enterprise at $750/mo for 50 workspaces and 300 profiles. Every tier, including the cheapest, includes unlimited users, a real difference from SocialPilot, where the user count is capped until you reach the top plan.

Client approvals start one step up, on Plus at $99/mo, where Sendible adds "Assignment & approvals" to everything in Core; Premium and above extend that with custom approval workflows. So the cheapest plan that can route a post to a client for sign-off is $99/mo for 3 workspaces, with unlimited users on it.

White-labeling isn't part of any of those tiers, though. Sendible sells it as its own separate product, a rebranded version of the whole dashboard, starting at roughly $315/mo billed monthly, or $268/mo billed annually. If an agency's plan is to eventually resell Sendible under its own name, that's a second line item to budget for, not a box you check on Elite or Enterprise.

Agorapulse: white-label reporting from the base plan, approvals cost more

Agorapulse flips the order: white-label reporting is included from its cheapest tier, Standard at $99 per user/mo (or $79 per user/mo billed annually), well before there's any client approval step. Approval workflows, a one-step version, only show up on Professional at $149 per user/mo (or $119 per user/mo billed annually), and unlike SocialPilot and Sendible, every Agorapulse tier is priced per seat, not per account or per plan.

Bulk scheduling, up to 200 posts uploaded at once, plus 5 shared calendars, arrives on Advanced at $199 per user/mo (or $149 per user/mo billed annually). Multi-step approvals and custom roles and permissions are reserved for the top Custom tier, which is quote-only. So if a branded report is what clients actually ask for, Agorapulse gets you there cheaper than SocialPilot at a single seat. But because Agorapulse charges per user while SocialPilot doesn't, that gap closes fast once a second person needs access: SocialPilot's Premium tier is a flat $100/mo for up to 6 users, while Agorapulse Professional is $149 per user, per month ($119/user billed annually). A two-person team pays $100/mo on SocialPilot and roughly $238–298/mo on Agorapulse, not close, and the gap widens with every seat you add.

Buffer: fine until a client wants to sign off on their own posts

Buffer doesn't try to be an agency tool. It's free for 3 channels, then $5/mo per channel on Essentials or $10/mo per channel on Team, and the price is the same whether those channels belong to one business or five different clients. There's no client workspace, no white-label report, and no client-facing approval step, just permissions for your own team members.

For a small roster where nobody outside your team needs to review or approve anything, that flat per-channel price is genuinely hard to beat. It stops being enough the moment a client asks to see their own version of the process.

Zolyp: when the bottleneck is producing the content, not queuing it

Every tool above solves the same problem: getting a finished post out the door on schedule, with a client-facing layer bolted on top. Several of them do include AI writing assistants now (Sendible advertises unlimited AI credits on every tier, for instance) but that's a caption helper sitting inside a composer, not something that decides what a client should post this month and designs it. What none of them do is plan and produce a month of on-brand content per client; for a lot of agencies, that's exactly where the time goes.

Zolyp gives each client brand its own Brand Brain (tone, colors, and voice, kept isolated from every other client), plans that brand's calendar, writes the captions, designs the visuals, and lets the client review and approve their week before anything publishes. Each brand also gets its own weekly report, scoped to just that client's content.

One honest gap: there's no white-labeled, client-facing dashboard today, each report is scoped per client but carries Zolyp's own name, not a rebranded one. An agency that specifically wants a white-label platform to resell should look at what Apaya offers instead. There's also no separate "agency" plan; you pick the tier with the client brands your roster needs, and team members are unlimited on every tier. Multi-client agencies typically land on Business ($299/mo, 5 brands) or Enterprise ($499/mo, 10 brands); a smaller roster fits a lower tier. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial, no card required.

What agency tools actually cost, side by side

Pricing changes often on all of these, so treat this as a starting point and check each tool's own page before committing. Verified directly against each vendor's own pricing page, most recently on 21 September 2026:

Match the tool to your roster, not the other way around

It's tempting to buy the tier with every feature listed. If you're managing two or three clients and nobody's asked for a branded report yet, Buffer or SocialPilot's Standard plan does the job, and you can upgrade the day a client actually asks for approval or white-labeling instead of paying for it up front.

And if the real bottleneck isn't the queue, it's finding the hours to plan, write, and design a month of content for every client, no scheduler on this list fixes that. That's a content problem, not a scheduling one.

Common questions

What's the best social media scheduler for an agency managing multiple clients?
It depends on what's actually slowing you down. If it's the client workflow, getting sign-off and handing over a branded report, SocialPilot's Premium tier bundles both for a flat $100/mo covering up to 6 users, while Agorapulse Professional bundles the same for $149 per user, per month ($119/user billed annually). A very different bill once more than one person needs a seat. If you only need the approvals half, Sendible's Plus at $99/mo includes assignment and approvals with unlimited users, and leaves white-labeling as a separate purchase. If it's producing the content itself, that's a different problem, which is what Zolyp (our product) is built to solve.
Which agency scheduling tools include white-label reporting?
Agorapulse includes white-label reporting from its base Standard plan, $99 per user/mo (or $79/user billed annually). SocialPilot includes it starting on its $100/mo Premium tier, a flat rate for up to 6 users. Sendible sells white-labeling as a separate product, starting around $315/mo billed monthly or $268/mo billed annually, rather than bundling it into a plan. Zolyp doesn't offer a white-labeled, client-facing report today.
What's the cheapest way to manage a handful of client accounts?
If nobody needs formal approval or a branded report yet, Buffer's flat per-channel pricing, $5/mo per channel on Essentials, is hard to beat: it costs the same whether those channels belong to one business or five. You'll outgrow it the day a client wants to review and approve posts themselves.
What's the difference between a social media scheduler and Zolyp for an agency?
A scheduler queues up posts your team already wrote and designed. Zolyp plans each client's month, writes the captions, and designs the visuals first, then schedules them, with the client reviewing before anything goes out. You're approving finished work instead of producing it.
